Course Format Options

Instructor-Led Training (Traditional Classroom)

The Instructor-Led format is a traditional, fully in-person classroom experience. Guided by our experienced AHA-certified instructors, you will complete the entire course in one sitting.

How it works: Students watch the AHA course videos, participate in group discussions, practice life-saving skills hands-on, and complete both the written exam and the skills testing under the direct supervision of an instructor.
Best for: Students who learn best in a traditional classroom environment, prefer real-time feedback throughout the entire learning process, or enjoy interactive group dynamics.

HeartSaver® (Blended Learning)

The HeartCode format provides a flexible, two-part learning experience that combines self-paced online education with a brief in-person skills test.

How it works: 1. Complete the cognitive learning portion online at your own pace, followed by an in-person, hands-on skills testing session at our training center.
Best For: Busy healthcare professionals, returning students renewing their credentials, or anyone looking to minimize their time spent in a classroom.
